Data Engineer

Project Description
We are looking for a motivated Data Engineer to join our growing data team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience with modern data technologies. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers and analysts to build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines and infrastructure.
Technologies

- SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL or similar)

- Python (or another scripting language)

- Basic knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus

- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus
What You'll Do

- Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data pipelines;

- Support data integration from various sources (databases, APIs, flat files);

- Help ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability;

- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand data requirements;

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation;

- Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows, resolving issues as they arise;
Job Requirements

- 1+ years of practical experience or relevant internship in a data-focused role (preferred);

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience);

- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server);

- Familiarity with at least one programming language (preferably Python);

- Understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing fundamentals;

- Eagerness to learn new technologies and best practices in data engineering;

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;

- Effective communication and teamwork abilities;

- English level: Intermediate (B1) or higher;
