Senior Java Developer

- Design and validate end-to-end solutions for complex web and digital platforms

- Act as a local technical coordination layer between Portugal and international teams

- Define and govern integration patterns (APIs, asynchronous flows, frontend–backend interaction)

- Design applications and technical solutions;

- Create new programs and develop existing programs;

- Ensure and organize a smooth and easy deploy.

- University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, or a comparable technical field

- 5+ years of relevant work experience in solution design for web and digital platforms

- Solid understanding of system architecture, APIs and integration patterns

- Expertise in Java technologies

- Experience with front-end frameworks (plus)

- Strong knowledge of SQL (SQL Server/Oracle) and NoSQL databases

- Practical experience with cloud services

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Professional English (C1 level required in spoken and written)

- Effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

- Strong collaboration skills within distributed and cross-functional teams

- Proactive mindset with a high sense of ownership and accountability

- Structured approach to incident and problem management

- Ability to prioritize workload efficiently in a dynamic environment

- Must hold a valid work permit or EU/Schengen Space nationality to legally work in Portugal

- Experience working in regulated environments

- French or Dutch language skills
