π Key Responsibilities
- Optimize Security Architecture: Maintain, configure, and upgrade our security infrastructure and monitoring systems.
- Lead Technical Deployments: Coordinate with external vendors and partners to successfully deploy and integrate new security software.
- Support DevOps & IT Teams: Partner with devops team and system administrators to build security controls into databases, cloud, and applications.
- Vulnerability & Threat Management: Assess security gaps, prioritize remediation efforts based on risk, and implement hardening measures.
- Advance Threat Detection: Evolve our monitoring capabilities to accelerate threat detection and response times.
- Guidance & Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and share cyber security best practices with junior team members.
- Research Innovation: Keep pace with the evolving threat landscape and evaluate new defensive technologies.

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven Track Record: 8+ years of professional experience in IT security roles or dedicated security engineering.
- Tool Proficiency: Solid background managing defense systems like SIEM, WAF, XDR/EDR, Email Security, and Data Activity Monitoring (DAM). Proven experience on managing security solutions on Azure.
- Core Competencies: Deep understanding of data protection, identity management (IAM), and endpoint security strategies.
- Vendor Operations: Experience managing relationships and deliverables with technology vendors.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical mindset with a track record of troubleshooting complex security incidents.
- Academic Background: Degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or an equivalent field (Masterβs degree is a plus).

- Industry Credentials: Professional certifications such as Security+, CC, AZ-500, SC-200, or BTL1.
- Cloud & DevOps Knowledge: Understanding of cloud environments, DevSecOps principles, and securing CI/CD pipelines.
- Enterprise Background: Experience utilizing enterprise-grade tools within global corporate structures.
